The Amigo Row ministry space, located near our sanctuary, needs substantial upgrades to comply with city regulations and guarantee the safety and comfort of year-round, long-term use. We believe God is calling us to a season of heightened faith and generosity. As we trust in His faithfulness, let’s join together to support the next generation, advance the Kingdom, and revitalize our city.

How?
Over the next year, we’re asking the congregation to give generously by pledging a number that requires faith. If we are generous together, this is an achievable goal. While not everyone can give the same amount, we are asking everyone to participate. Sacrifices may need to be made, such as canceling premium television, preparing coffee at home, or foregoing that next vacation. What we’ll gain is not only the building, but the tools to serve and impact the next generation.

What?
Our first major building campaign, Amigo Row Revival / Revive the Row, aims to revitalize the historic Amigo Row building adjacent to our main sanctuary. This project involves a comprehensive renovation including façade updates, HVAC installation, structural reinforcement, safety measures, electrical upgrades, and ADA-compliant restrooms. By investing in Amigo Row, we’re creating a multi-purpose space that will serve our next generation, offer essential training and equipping services, ministry offices, and provide opportunities for outreach to the community. Our long-term vision is to participate in the restoration of East Main Street and create a sending Church at the center of our city. To achieve these goals, we need to raise $980,000.00 to bring Amigo Row up to code and ensure its continued legacy for years to come.

Opportunities
- For our facility: A well-loved building on the brink of condemnation receives major structural, electrical, and safety upgrades. Also HVAC/insulation upgrades for all-season usage, two new ADA-compliant restrooms, a full commercial kitchen, a dedicated space for Medium-sized (100-person) events that won’t require sanctuary reconfiguration, and supplemental staff.
- For our youth: Our youth has flourished for years while meeting outdoors at members’ homes, but now they’ll have a consistent year-round space available at all hours. The coming demographic tidal waves of 0-11 kids and 12-18 youth and young adults will have an accessible and furnished youth center awaiting them.
- For our staff: A staff currently scattered will unify in one centralized headquarters with discreet spaces for counseling and private meetings. Upstairs flex space will allow for modular modifications and staff growth.
- For our sanctuary: Our sanctuary and 0-5 kid classrooms are packed! But office relocations will create increased seating capacity and add additional kid’s classrooms. The current office area will be re-purposed as a flex space for connection, prayer, packs, and more!
- For our city: Boarded-up windows become a beautiful front-facing property that links arms with city plans for the downtown and adds value to adjacent businesses. Amigo Row will open windows to worship and public testimony on East Main Street, become a discipleship, equipping, and sending hub, host para-church activities that strengthen and unite believers across the city, and host receptions for weddings, funerals, Visalia Unified PTA, and beyond.

Why Revive the row?
For the past five years, we’ve been pursuing the restoration of Amigo Row for youth and young adult ministry. Despite facing significant challenges and the global pandemic, we are thrilled to announce the launch of this long-awaited project.
A demographic tidal wave is coming as our 0-11 kids will soon crest into our youth ministry and our 12-18 youth into young adulthood, shaping the next generation of our church and our community. More than ever, Amigo Row is central to this ministry, blessing not only our congregation but our city.
We are required to bring Amigo Row up to code and it’s essential that we install safety measures and air conditioning for perpetual usage. We currently have spaces for 30 and 300, but nothing in the middle or year-round. We also desire to participate in downtown Visalia culture and the beautification of East Main Street. This space will foster opportunities for outreach, discipleship and serve as a sending hub for church planting initiatives. Ultimately, Amigo Row will stand as a powerful testament to the transformative power of God right here in our city.

Kingdom Come
“Kingdom Come” was so very special. Thank you for making it happen on school campuses. I love that it was outside and for many to hear. I love that my athletic director came by to help with lights and ended up staying the whole night. I love the way you highlighted Campus Life and prayed for Jesse.
We have a group chat of several believers on the MWHS campus, and last night some of those people went, including my principal. They were sharing encouraging messages and videos of Kingdom Come last night after the event. Mt. Whitney has had a rough start to the school year, so this was a much-needed breath of fresh air and a reminder of the mission field we step on every day.
I felt so proud and grateful to be a part of Radiant Church and be a part of THE church.
